# Freespoke vs ToolBevy

The clearest difference is review sentiment: ToolBevy at 100% against Freespoke's 43%. ToolBevy also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.6) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). Freespoke's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 17 months) and ratings volume (4.6K vs 4). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Freespoke sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month and ToolBevy sells 5 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ToolBevy holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Freespoke has 4.6K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 43% of Freespoke's written reviews are positive against 100% of ToolBevy's.

Freespoke ships an update every 2 weeks, ToolBevy every 17 months. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
