# Classic Watch Faces vs Watch Faces

The clearest difference is update cadence: Classic Watch Faces at every 6 weeks against Watch Faces's every 3 months. Classic Watch Faces also leads on ratings volume (33 vs 5). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Classic Watch Faces sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month and Watch Faces sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.1 for Classic Watch Faces against 4.2 for Watch Faces. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Classic Watch Faces has 33 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Classic Watch Faces ships an update every 6 weeks, Watch Faces every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and November 4, 2026 respectively.
