# Whale vs TodoX

The clearest difference is update cadence: Whale at every 6 days against TodoX's every 7 months. Whale also leads on device support (4 vs 1) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.0). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Whale sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and TodoX sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Whale ships an update every 6 days, TodoX every 7 months. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
