# SaveTk vs Threads

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Threads at 2.3M against SaveTk's 17K. Threads also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 5 weeks) and chart position (#1 vs #123). SaveTk's advantage is iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.3). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SaveTk sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and Threads sells 13 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for SaveTk against 4.6 for Threads. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Threads has 2.3M ratings behind it against 17K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 36% of SaveTk's written reviews are positive against 52% of Threads's.

SaveTk ships an update every 5 weeks, Threads weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
