# Fast VPN Proxy vs Webroot VPN

The clearest difference is ads: Webroot VPN at none against Fast VPN Proxy's shown. Webroot VPN also leads on review sentiment (31% vs 0%). Fast VPN Proxy's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 4 months) and rating (4.6 vs 4.3). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Fast VPN Proxy sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days and Webroot VPN sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $59.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Fast VPN Proxy holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Fast VPN Proxy has 37 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 0% of Fast VPN Proxy's written reviews are positive against 31% of Webroot VPN's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Fast VPN Proxy ships an update every 3 weeks, Webroot VPN every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and November 4, 2026 respectively.
