# SFPS vs The Winbox

The clearest difference is rating: SFPS at 5.0 against The Winbox's 2.7. The Winbox's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 8 months) and ratings volume (75 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

SFPS holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 2.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: The Winbox has 75 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

SFPS ships an update every 8 months, The Winbox weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
