# CUBER vs subX Timer

The clearest difference is rating: subX Timer at 5.0 against CUBER's 4.2. subX Timer also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 1) and ads (none vs shown). CUBER's advantage is ratings volume (12 vs 1). On price, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. CUBER sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. subX Timer asks for nothing beyond the download.

subX Timer holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: CUBER has 12 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
