# Cam Linker vs Canon Multi

The clearest difference is rating: Cam Linker at 3.6 against Canon Multi's 2.2. Cam Linker also leads on update cadence (every 5 days vs every 4 months) and ratings volume (207 vs 13). Canon Multi's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 1) and review sentiment (37% vs 20%). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Cam Linker sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Canon Multi asks for nothing beyond the download.

Cam Linker holds the better App Store score, 3.6 against 2.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Cam Linker has 207 ratings behind it against 13, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 20% of Cam Linker's written reviews are positive against 37% of Canon Multi's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Cam Linker ships an update every 5 days, Canon Multi every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
