# Watch Faces vs Timeora

The clearest difference is monetization model: Watch Faces at free with in-app purchases against Timeora's subscription. Watch Faces also leads on iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). Timeora's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 6 days vs every 2 weeks). On price, rating, review sentiment and ratings volume there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Watch Faces sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and Timeora sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.5 for Watch Faces against 4.6 for Timeora. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 2.2K and 5.2K respectively. Written reviews are what separate them: 14% of Watch Faces's written reviews are positive against 19% of Timeora's.

Watch Faces ships an update every 2 weeks, Timeora every 6 days. Both last shipped on November 7, 2026.
