# Rubi vs Faxo

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Rubi at none against Faxo's 21. Faxo's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 2 days vs every 3 weeks). On price, review sentiment, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Faxo sells 21 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Rubi asks for nothing beyond the download.

Faxo holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Faxo has 1.8K ratings behind it against 115, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 74% of Rubi's written reviews are positive against 81% of Faxo's.
