# QR Bot vs SplitCost

The clearest difference is update cadence: QR Bot at every 3 weeks against SplitCost's every 3 months. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. QR Bot sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and SplitCost sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

QR Bot ships an update every 3 weeks, SplitCost every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and October 4, 2026 respectively.
