# Дядя Ваня VPN vs Arm

The clearest difference is rating: Дядя Ваня VPN at 4.3 against Arm's 1.0. Дядя Ваня VPN also leads on ratings volume (3.9K vs 1). Arm's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 2 months) and review sentiment (50% vs 35%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Дядя Ваня VPN holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Дядя Ваня VPN has 3.9K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 35% of Дядя Ваня VPN's written reviews are positive against 50% of Arm's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Дядя Ваня VPN ships an update every 2 months, Arm weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
