# Live Transcribe + vs Live Transcribe Voice Notes

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Live Transcribe Voice Notes at 100% against Live Transcribe +'s 35%. Live Transcribe +'s advantage is rating (4.6 vs 3.0) and ratings volume (794 vs 2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Live Transcribe + sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and Live Transcribe Voice Notes sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Live Transcribe + holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Live Transcribe + has 794 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 35% of Live Transcribe +'s written reviews are positive against 100% of Live Transcribe Voice Notes's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Live Transcribe + ships an update every 6 weeks, Live Transcribe Voice Notes every 5 months. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
