# Tick'it vs Scene Platform

The clearest difference is rating: Tick'it at 4.6 against Scene Platform's 4.0. Tick'it also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 9) and update cadence (weekly vs monthly). Scene Platform's advantage is review sentiment (67% vs 50%). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Scene Platform sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Tick'it asks for nothing beyond the download.

Tick'it holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Tick'it has 60 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of Tick'it's written reviews are positive against 67% of Scene Platform's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Tick'it ships an update weekly, Scene Platform monthly. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and November 4, 2026 respectively.
