# Luep vs MONGA

The clearest difference is ads: Luep at none against MONGA's shown. Luep also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 2 months) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). On price, rating, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Luep against 5.0 for MONGA. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Luep has 19 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Luep ships an update weekly, MONGA every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and September 29, 2026 respectively.
