# Alyam vs Rangers Store

The clearest difference is ads: Alyam at none against Rangers Store's shown. Alyam also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and review sentiment (100% vs 83%). Rangers Store's advantage is update cadence (monthly vs every 20 months). On price, rating, ratings volume and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Rangers Store holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 30 and 28 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Alyam's written reviews are positive against 83% of Rangers Store's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Alyam ships an update every 20 months, Rangers Store monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
