# Alyam vs MegaStore

The clearest difference is rating: Alyam at 4.6 against MegaStore's 3.7. Alyam also leads on ratings volume (30 vs 3) and device support (3 vs 1). MegaStore's advantage is update cadence (every 8 days vs every 20 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Alyam holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Alyam has 30 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Alyam ships an update every 20 months, MegaStore every 8 days. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
