# PLL vs The Circuit Lacrosse

The clearest difference is ads: The Circuit Lacrosse at none against PLL's shown. The Circuit Lacrosse also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). PLL's advantage is update cadence (every 5 days vs every 24 months) and ratings volume (4.2K vs 5). On price, rating, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for PLL against 4.8 for The Circuit Lacrosse. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: PLL has 4.2K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two.

PLL ships an update every 5 days, The Circuit Lacrosse every 24 months. Both last shipped on October 25, 2026.
