# Flame Broiler vs That Smash Stack

The clearest difference is rating: Flame Broiler at 4.6 against That Smash Stack's 3.0. Flame Broiler also leads on ratings volume (2.9K vs 2). That Smash Stack's advantage is review sentiment (50% vs 17%) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs monthly). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Flame Broiler holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Flame Broiler has 2.9K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 17% of Flame Broiler's written reviews are positive against 50% of That Smash Stack's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Flame Broiler ships an update monthly, That Smash Stack every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
