# Formulify Formula Live Widgets vs Oceandex

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Oceandex at none against Formulify Formula Live Widgets's 8. Oceandex also leads on update cadence (every 2 days vs every 6 weeks) and rating (4.6 vs 4.2). Formulify Formula Live Widgets's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (1.5K vs 12). Both are free to download. Formulify Formula Live Widgets sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Oceandex asks for nothing beyond the download.

Oceandex holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Formulify Formula Live Widgets has 1.5K ratings behind it against 12, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 17% of Formulify Formula Live Widgets's written reviews are positive against 0% of Oceandex's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
