# FumiFumi vs Sumomo

The clearest difference is rating: FumiFumi at 4.3 against Sumomo's 2.4. FumiFumi also leads on ads (none vs shown). Sumomo's advantage is update cadence (every 6 days vs every 2 months) and review sentiment (13% vs 0%). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FumiFumi sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $4.99 per month and Sumomo sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

FumiFumi holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 2.4. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 3 and 11 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 0% of FumiFumi's written reviews are positive against 13% of Sumomo's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

FumiFumi ships an update every 2 months, Sumomo every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
