# Tanka Note vs SuperNote

The clearest difference is ads: SuperNote at none against Tanka Note's shown. SuperNote also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 6 weeks). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Tanka Note sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and SuperNote sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Tanka Note ships an update every 6 weeks, SuperNote fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
