# Ringtone Master vs Ally

The clearest difference is rating: Ringtone Master at 4.6 against Ally's 3.9. Ringtone Master also leads on ratings volume (347 vs 41) and device support (3 vs 1). Ally's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 5 months). On price, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Ringtone Master sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Ally sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.00 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Ringtone Master holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Ringtone Master has 347 ratings behind it against 41, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 57% of Ringtone Master's written reviews are positive against 68% of Ally's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Ringtone Master ships an update every 5 months, Ally every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and November 4, 2026 respectively.
