# FT360 vs SWITCH5

The clearest difference is update cadence: SWITCH5 at every 6 months against FT360's every 26 months. SWITCH5 also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 16.4). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

FT360 ships an update every 26 months, SWITCH5 every 6 months. Both last shipped on October 27, 2026.
