# Desktop Note vs All Notes App

Desktop Note and All Notes App are too close to call on the numbers: across 6 compared parameters — price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases among them — neither pulls far enough ahead to decide it. What separates them is feature set and interface, not measurable difference.

Both are free to download. Desktop Note sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 3 months and All Notes App sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Desktop Note ships an update every 4 weeks, All Notes App fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
