# Artykul vs Topics

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Topics at none against Artykul's 3. Topics also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 3 months) and rating (5.0 vs 4.6). Artykul's advantage is ratings volume (11 vs 1) and device support (4 vs 2). On price, ads and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Artykul sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Topics asks for nothing beyond the download.
