# NovelWolf vs NovelCloud

The clearest difference is ads: NovelCloud at none against NovelWolf's shown. NovelCloud also leads on update cadence (every 9 days vs every 3 months) and rating (4.7 vs 4.5). NovelWolf's advantage is ratings volume (208 vs 19). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. NovelWolf sells 8 one-off in-app purchases and NovelCloud sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

NovelCloud holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: NovelWolf has 208 ratings behind it against 19, so its average is the more settled of the two.
