# myQQ vs Ping

The clearest difference is ads: Ping at none against myQQ's shown. Ping also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and update cadence (daily vs every 6 days). myQQ's advantage is ratings volume (26K vs 2). On price and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Ping holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: myQQ has 26K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

myQQ ships an update every 6 days, Ping daily. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 19, 2026 respectively.
