# GUGA vs touchnotesPro

The clearest difference is rating: GUGA at 4.6 against touchnotesPro's 2.5. GUGA also leads on review sentiment (70% vs 30%) and update cadence (every 4 days vs every 3 weeks). touchnotesPro's advantage is monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. GUGA sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and touchnotesPro sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

GUGA holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 2.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: GUGA has 170 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 70% of GUGA's written reviews are positive against 30% of touchnotesPro's.

GUGA ships an update every 4 days, touchnotesPro every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
