# GUGA vs StudySync

The clearest difference is review sentiment: StudySync at 100% against GUGA's 70%. StudySync also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.6) and update cadence (daily vs every 4 days). GUGA's advantage is ratings volume (170 vs 1) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. GUGA sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and StudySync sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

StudySync holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: GUGA has 170 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 70% of GUGA's written reviews are positive against 100% of StudySync's.

GUGA ships an update every 4 days, StudySync daily. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
