# OUKU vs AHA SELECTED

The clearest difference is rating: OUKU at 4.5 against AHA SELECTED's 3.8. OUKU also leads on ratings volume (906 vs 14). AHA SELECTED's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months) and review sentiment (76% vs 60%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

OUKU holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: OUKU has 906 ratings behind it against 14, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 60% of OUKU's written reviews are positive against 76% of AHA SELECTED's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

OUKU ships an update every 2 months, AHA SELECTED fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 19, 2026 respectively.
