# OUKU vs tilga

The clearest difference is review sentiment: tilga at 100% against OUKU's 60%. tilga also leads on ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). OUKU's advantage is ratings volume (906 vs 5) and rating (4.5 vs 4.2). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

OUKU holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: OUKU has 906 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 60% of OUKU's written reviews are positive against 100% of tilga's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

OUKU ships an update every 2 months, tilga every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and September 27, 2026 respectively.
