# PlanoHero Layout vs AlwaysOnSite

The clearest difference is ads: PlanoHero Layout at none against AlwaysOnSite's shown. AlwaysOnSite's advantage is update cadence (every 5 days vs fortnightly). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

PlanoHero Layout ships an update fortnightly, AlwaysOnSite every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on September 27, 2026 and September 25, 2026 respectively.
