# Curia Events vs Client Update

The clearest difference is update cadence: Client Update at every 3 months against Curia Events's every 20 months. Client Update also leads on iOS requirement (15.4 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Curia Events ships an update every 20 months, Client Update every 3 months. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
