# PPTControl vs NDI HX Camera

The clearest difference is review sentiment: PPTControl at 72% against NDI HX Camera's 11%. PPTControl also leads on update cadence (every 2 months vs every 5 months). NDI HX Camera's advantage is rating (4.4 vs 3.9) and ratings volume (507 vs 24). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PPTControl sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and NDI HX Camera sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

NDI HX Camera holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: NDI HX Camera has 507 ratings behind it against 24, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 72% of PPTControl's written reviews are positive against 11% of NDI HX Camera's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

PPTControl ships an update every 2 months, NDI HX Camera every 5 months. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
