# Waiter Pal vs TipJoy

Waiter Pal and TipJoy both sit at 4.9 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of TipJoy's written reviews are positive against 64% of Waiter Pal's. Waiter Pal's advantage is ratings volume (788 vs 64). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Waiter Pal sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per 7 days and TipJoy sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Waiter Pal against 5.0 for TipJoy. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Waiter Pal has 788 ratings behind it against 64, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 64% of Waiter Pal's written reviews are positive against 100% of TipJoy's.
