# Waiter Pal vs TipStream

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Waiter Pal at 788 against TipStream's 2. Waiter Pal also leads on update cadence (every 11 days vs monthly). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Waiter Pal sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per 7 days and TipStream sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Waiter Pal against 5.0 for TipStream. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Waiter Pal has 788 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.
