# TM+ Pro vs IR Sync

The clearest difference is rating: IR Sync at 5.0 against TM+ Pro's 3.1. IR Sync also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months). TM+ Pro's advantage is ratings volume (97 vs 1) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

IR Sync holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TM+ Pro has 97 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

TM+ Pro ships an update every 2 months, IR Sync fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
