# hashcloud vs Mail Docs

The clearest difference is ads: Mail Docs at none against hashcloud's shown. Mail Docs also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.5). hashcloud's advantage is update cadence (every 8 days vs every 2 months) and ratings volume (185 vs 1). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. hashcloud sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Mail Docs sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Mail Docs holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: hashcloud has 185 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

hashcloud ships an update every 8 days, Mail Docs every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on September 30, 2026 and September 25, 2026 respectively.
