# hashcloud vs Vertical DNA

The clearest difference is ads: Vertical DNA at none against hashcloud's shown. Vertical DNA also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.5). hashcloud's advantage is ratings volume (185 vs 1). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. hashcloud sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Vertical DNA sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $24.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Vertical DNA holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: hashcloud has 185 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
