# Wiser vs FluentJoy

The clearest difference is ads: FluentJoy at none against Wiser's shown. FluentJoy also leads on review sentiment (69% vs 41%). Wiser's advantage is chart position (#198 vs unranked) and ratings volume (56K vs 6.5K). On price, rating, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Wiser sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $12.99 per month and FluentJoy sells 21 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for Wiser against 4.8 for FluentJoy. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Wiser has 56K ratings behind it against 6.5K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 41% of Wiser's written reviews are positive against 69% of FluentJoy's.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly weekly. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
