# Wiser vs ache

The clearest difference is ads: ache at none against Wiser's shown. ache also leads on device support (3 vs 1). Wiser's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs fortnightly). On price, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Wiser sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $12.99 per month and ache sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Wiser ships an update weekly, ache fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
