# WeScoop vs Midnight Talk

The clearest difference is rating: Midnight Talk at 4.5 against WeScoop's 3.5. Midnight Talk also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 14.0). WeScoop's advantage is monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and review sentiment (88% vs 73%). On price, ratings volume, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Midnight Talk holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.5. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 6 and 12 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 88% of WeScoop's written reviews are positive against 73% of Midnight Talk's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
