# Paint.Ms vs Flag Maker

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Flag Maker at 100% against Paint.Ms's 27%. Flag Maker also leads on rating (4.8 vs 4.0) and ratings volume (75 vs 1). Paint.Ms's advantage is monetization model (free vs freemium) and update cadence (every 8 days vs monthly). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Paint.Ms sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Flag Maker sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Flag Maker holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.0.
