# VPN MAX vs VPN Proxy & Internet Speed Pro

The clearest difference is monetization model: VPN MAX at free with in-app purchases against VPN Proxy & Internet Speed Pro's subscription. VPN MAX also leads on update cadence (every 5 days vs every 6 weeks). VPN Proxy & Internet Speed Pro's advantage is ratings volume (3.3K vs 123). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. VPN MAX sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $8.00 per month and VPN Proxy & Internet Speed Pro sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.5 for VPN MAX against 4.6 for VPN Proxy & Internet Speed Pro. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: VPN Proxy & Internet Speed Pro has 3.3K ratings behind it against 123, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 60% of VPN MAX's written reviews are positive against 64% of VPN Proxy & Internet Speed Pro's.
