# Erase Race vs Dig This 2

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Erase Race at 80% against Dig This 2's 47%. Erase Race also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). Dig This 2's advantage is rating (4.7 vs 4.3) and ratings volume (10K vs 35). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Erase Race sells 5 one-off in-app purchases and Dig This 2 sells 6 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Dig This 2 holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Dig This 2 has 10K ratings behind it against 35, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 80% of Erase Race's written reviews are positive against 47% of Dig This 2's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Erase Race ships an update every 2 weeks, Dig This 2 every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
