# 订阅酱 vs BookSide

The clearest difference is update cadence: BookSide at every 2 days against 订阅酱's every 2 months. 订阅酱's advantage is iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 订阅酱 sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and BookSide sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

订阅酱 ships an update every 2 months, BookSide every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
