# Adrienlastic vs Retra

The clearest difference is rating: Retra at 4.8 against Adrienlastic's 3.0. Retra also leads on update cadence (every 4 days vs every 5 weeks) and ratings volume (3K vs 2). Adrienlastic's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 3) and ads (none vs shown). On price, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Retra sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days. Adrienlastic asks for nothing beyond the download.

Retra holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Retra has 3K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 33% of Adrienlastic's written reviews are positive against 14% of Retra's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Adrienlastic ships an update every 5 weeks, Retra every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and October 19, 2026 respectively.
