# Magic Eraser vs BOARD

The clearest difference is ads: BOARD at none against Magic Eraser's shown. BOARD also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.8). Magic Eraser's advantage is ratings volume (10K vs 3) and iOS requirement (16.0 vs 26.0). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Magic Eraser sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and BOARD sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

BOARD holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Magic Eraser has 10K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Magic Eraser ships an update weekly, BOARD every 8 days. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and September 15, 2026 respectively.
