# TLC NYC vs CDL Help

The clearest difference is ads: TLC NYC at none against CDL Help's shown. TLC NYC also leads on review sentiment (64% vs 55%). CDL Help's advantage is update cadence (every 2 days vs every 8 months) and rating (4.9 vs 4.5). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TLC NYC sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and CDL Help sells 23 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

CDL Help holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: CDL Help has 5.4K ratings behind it against 525, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 64% of TLC NYC's written reviews are positive against 55% of CDL Help's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

TLC NYC ships an update every 8 months, CDL Help every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
